Linking Jira project to git repo

 

  1. Create a Jira project

  2. Click the option that says link repos

  3. Select Bitbucket - Link workspace

  4. You will be prompted to Connect Jira to Bitbucket Cloud

  5. Grant Access to the particular workspace in Bitbucket

     

  6. Confirm that you want to grant access to the workspace

     

  7. Process to connect is now complete

     

  8. The above steps of linking to the workspace is a one-time activity

  9. You will see a list of repos that can be linked to Jira projects, select what is needed

 

  1. Go back to Jira

  2. Inform Jira that you want to connect to external products

     

  3. On the Jira side, you are good to go

  4. In your Jira project, it looks like this

     

  5. In your Bitbucket account, you will see the newly created project
