Using Jira ticket number

  1. Create a Jira ticket and make note of the Jira ID

     

  2. Clone your git repo down

  3. Make a change, stage, commit adding a message, then push

    1. the message should have the Jira ID at the beginning

       

  4. Refresh your browser view on the git repo

  5. On your board select the Jira ticket

  6. When the ticket opens you will see the commit has been linked to your Jira ticket

     

  7. Hover your mouse over the commit line and more info will be displayed

  8. Select “View all development Information”
