Make sure you are in the Kanban Company project
Make sure you are in your TODO App (KB CM) - so this is the Kanban Company Managed Project. The default name for the project’s initial board is the project’s KEY
Also make sure you have the story board as the current board
Create a new story, select it from the list of available stories, do not close the issue dialog
Locate the labels field
In the field begin to type your first name, followed by -todo-app
You will see (New label) after the label you are creating. Jira recognises that this label does not exist in the system and will create a new one. Select the new label, it will appear as value in the label field
Select “Create” to close the dialog
Create another story as you did in step 3. Again locate the labels field, click into the field. A dropdown list will appear a list of available labels. IN that list should be your recently created label.
Select it
Then select “Create” (lower pportion of dialog) to create the story
Open up the baord settings (upper right of the board)
Locate the Quick Filters option - it is located under the Settings for the story…
In the Name field type My TODO Issues
In the JQL field start typing lab - Jira will locate a matching element for you
Select labels
Continue to type the equal sign followed by your the first part of your name
Jira will search for a label that matches what you are typing. When you can see the label, select it
