Step-by-step guide
- Select reference models, viewpoints, and tools
- Develop Baseline Business /IS/Technology Architecture Description (using BBs)
- Develop Target Business/IS/Technology Architecture Description (using BBs)
- Perform gap analysis
- Define candidate roadmap components
- Resolve impacts across the Architecture Landscape (other BBs)
- Conduct a formal stakeholder review
- Fully document then check BBs against goals, requirements, standards, models, risks and gaps.
- Create/modify Architecture Definition Document and increment version if necessary
